2022 RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP FIXTURES

THE 2022 RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE CONTESTED BETWEEN NEW ZEALAND’S ALL BLACKS, AUSTRALIA’S WALLABIES, SOUTH AFRICA’S SPRINGBOKS AND ARGENTINA’S PUMAS.

The first Test match in the 2022 Rugby Championship is on Saturday, 6 August and runs through to Saturday, 24 September.

World Champions South Africa and Argentina kick off the tournament with home double-headers against New Zealand and Australia, respectively.

The Springboks and Los Pumas then travel to Australasia to take on the Wallabies and All Blacks in back-to-back double-headers.

The final two rounds will see the Aussies and Kiwis alternate home and away Bledisloe Cup and Rugby Championship clashes.

There will be no third Test between the teams after the trans-Tasman series was reduced to two matches for the next four years.

A rare Thursday night game will be played in Melbourne, with the return fixture taking place in Auckland at Eden Park. The reason for a mid-week game was to avoid a clash with the AFL and NRL over venue availability for their finals series.

The Boks and Pumas will also alternate home and away fixtures for the last two rounds.
